Definition

Optical illusions occur as a result of how
information is received through the eyes
and how that information is interpreted in
the brain.
How information is received also depends
on what you have already learned.

Ambiguous Illusion
The pictures or objects make the viewer see
two interpretations.
Distorting Illusion

•

Distorting Illusions are characterized by
distortions of size, length, or curvature.
Paradox Illusion
● Objects that are not possible in real life.

The light rays bounce off the two parabolic
mirrors and project an image.
