Engaging with our Learning Community in the Spirit
of Jesus’ Light & Love

As we wait for the meeting to begin, let us dispose
ourselves to prayer….
Centering our thoughts on the Lord, gratefully
acknowledge all your God-given gifts, ask Him to show
you ONE gift that you have would best help you in
relating and engaging with the people you coordinate
with….

Gospel Reading
Mt. 5:14-16
14

Semcinocentes, RVM

“You are the light of the world.
A town built on a hill cannot be
hidden. 15 Neither do people light
a lamp and put it under a bowl.
Instead they put it on its
stand, and it gives light to
everyone in the house. 16 In the
same way, let your light shine
before others, that they may see
your good deeds and glorify your
Father in heaven.”
Prayer
RIGHT:
Lord, as you send us, we remember
what you said:
“I have come to light a fire on the
earth.
How I wish the blaze within to burn
bright from Your love!
You are the light of the world.
One who lights a lamp does not put
it in the cellar or under a basket,
But rather on a lampstand, so that
we who come in, may see the light”…
Semcinocentes, RVM
LEFT:
Lord, may we aspire to be like
Mother Ignacia and the Blessed
Mother in our openness, that we
may continue to respond in
generosity to the needs of the
school.

Semcinocentes, RVM
RIGHT:
May we be ever aware of the
privilege you give us to humbly
lead those you have entrusted to
us and that we are then to go and
serve our learning
community, working with each
other in the spirit of Jesus’ loving
compassion.

Semcinocentes, RVM
ALL:
Be with us as we meet and plan.
Grant that we may be sensitive to
the promptings of Your Holy
Spirit.
Use our unique gifts that we may
put your will to flesh that all
discerned decisions that we make
may be a proclamation of your
love and beacons of your light.
