This is just the start, and I’m impressed and humbled by the work to date and support from all of you on our efforts. One thing that the White House would like to see more of is collaboration – and that’s why I’m here today.
We seek more interactions between all these open data Federal agency efforts and the private, non-profit, and academic sectors. If you are interested in joining me for some public-private aligning of open data efforts, please find me and let me know or email me at khoney@ostp.eop.gov. We have some big things planned for 2016 and I’d love for you to be a part. Data science is a team sport, and we need your ideas, suggestions, and feedback to make it work! We want to hear from you.
Thank you.
