It was accredited to deliver academic courses and degrees to the level of Bachelor and Masters with a national recognized qualification. It was also given its’ official name ISET – Instituto Superior de Educacao e Tecnologia — in short
ISET/OWU.
Community Lead Total Sanitation and Hygiene - Malawi
Humana People to People is scaling up WASH activities with a vision of achieving community lead total sanitation and hygiene in most of the vulnerable communities. Over 150.000 people are engaged within our programs in Southern Africa. The members of Humana People to People which are carrying out such projects include Angola, Congo Democratic Republic, Guinea-Bissau, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The 21st International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2016) was opened officially Monday evening, with calls for #EndingAIDS the epidemic by year 2030.Humana People to people is attending the conference. Humana People to People’s contribution to the UNAIDS 90-90-90 Agenda will immediately be to contribute to achieving the first 90 meaning 90% of all people living with HIV are knowing their HIV status.

We are hereby submitting a sustainability report for the first time. Three companies have teamed up for this project:
HUMANA Kleidersammlung GmbH and HUMANA Second Hand Kleidung GmbH in Germany, and Humana People to People - Verein für Entwicklungszusammenarbeit - Association
for Development Cooperation - in Austria (subsequently referred to as HUMANA in Austria).
We follow the clothes collected in the two countries and report on the effects of our actions: From the clothes containers to
the sorting centres and shops right up to the next users of the clothes - in Europe, Africa, or Asia. We report on the economic, environmental, and social aspects.

All the Humana projects have a common base – help the community to have a self-economic sustainability, because sustainability is a big problem we could see at the projects in Mozambique.

HPPI will strengthen and expand its work in the education sector, especially with teacher training, and work with States to provide quality education to its most vulnerable citizens. HPPI will expand its effort to work with farmers to produce more and better quality products on their land using environmentally sustainable farming methods. The third major thrust is to expand access to finance for poor women through its microfinance project.

At present, Humana People to People members operate 265 social projects reaching out to more than 10

ADPP is a national Mozambican organization since 1982 which currently implements 50 projects across all provinces of the nation. It employs more than 2,000 staff and benefits more than 2 million Mozambicans annually.
ADPP’s programs focus on Education, HIV/AIDs prevention and care, Community Development, and Food Security and Agriculture. The organization works in close cooperation with the Government of Mozambique and with local and international partners to secure improved living conditions for communities and individuals.

The purpose of the community preschool project is to prevent poor children in becoming poor adults. The preschool classes are established in natural villages in remote poverty stricken areas. Closed down spot schools are renovated or other rooms are found and used as classroom. The preschool teachers are recruited locally and trained by Humana People to People (HPP).

This book is an invitation to join hands to do good, together with the people of Zimbabwe.
DAPP in Zimbabwe is of the opinion that it is time to give the people of Zimbabwe a hand, in just the same manner as so many other peoples around the world are

DAPP Zimbabwe and USAID remain committed to make achievable the UN SDG 6 goal whose vision is to ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
Strengthening TB case finding in Mining Sector of Southern Africa
June 2017, Machava, Mozambique. ADPP Mozambique, a Stop TB Partner, is undertaking active TB case finding covering a population of 214,000 mineworkers, ex-mineworkers, their family members and their communities with the aim of reducing the TB burden in Mozambique, Malawi, Tanzania, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland and Zambia.
Humana Spain at the Energy Access Investment Forum
The forum was a good opportunity to share the experience of Humana Fundación Pueblo para Pueblo, Humana Portugal and its local partner ADPP-Guinea Bissau in the project 'Renewable energy for rural development in Bissora-Oio', which was completed at the end of last year and funded by the European Union.
BUILDING RESILIENCE AMONG RURAL FARMERS IN ZAMBIA
DAPP Zambia, a member of Humana People to People, is currently operating a rural small scale farmers program in Pemba district, Southern province of Zambia. The program response focuses on improving the farmers’ resilience regarding effects of climate change, improving livelihood and generation of income for the actively involved small scale farmers. It is expected to contribute, in the long term, to building the resilience of the most vulnerable rural populations in the region.
REDUCING HIV INFECTION AMONG ADOLESCENT GIRLS & YOUNG WOMEN OF SOUTH AFRICA
Humana People to People’s main focus in this program is to empower Girls and Young Women with tools that they can use to prevent HIV infection and also to be able to protect their selves.
ACCESS TO WATER IS TRANSFORMING LIVES IN MONZE, ZAMBIA
Humana People to People to which DAPP Zambia is a member, share the underlying factor that clean, accessible water for all is an essential part of the world we want to live in. Water scarcity, poor water quality and inadequate sanitation negatively impact food security, livelihood choices and educational opportunities for poor families across the world.

With a focus on the 2024 revisions issued by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), participants will gain insight into the key changes affecting federal grant recipients.
