Humana People to People is taking part in on going the 21st International AIDS Conference which started on Monday 18th – and ending on 22nd of July 2016. The 5 day event will see close to 20.000 people sharing diverse information and knowledge in the field of HIV and AIDS.

It was accredited to deliver academic courses and degrees to the level of Bachelor and Masters with a national recognized qualification. Humana People to People is scaling up WASH activities with a vision of achieving community lead total sanitation and hygiene in most of the vulnerable communities. Over 150.000 people are engaged within our programs in Southern Africa. The members of Humana People to People which are carrying out such projects include Angola, Congo Democratic Republic, Guinea-Bissau, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
HPPI is a member of the Federation of Associations connected to the International Humana People to People Movement, which is also known as Humana People to People. The Federation is registered in Switzerland and has its operational headquarters at Shamva, Zimbabwe.
Humana People to People India’s mission is to unite with people in India in order to create development in the
broadest sense through the implementation of projects that aim at transferring knowledge, skills and capacity to
individuals and communities who need assistance to come out of poverty and other dehumanizing conditions.

We are hereby submitting a sustainability report for the first time. Three companies have teamed up for this project:
HUMANA Kleidersammlung GmbH and HUMANA Second Hand Kleidung GmbH in Germany, and Humana People to People - Verein für Entwicklungszusammenarbeit - Association
for Development Cooperation - in Austria (subsequently referred to as HUMANA in Austria).
We follow the clothes collected in the two countries and report on the effects of our actions: From the clothes containers to
the sorting centres and shops right up to the next users of the clothes - in Europe, Africa, or Asia. We report on the economic, environmental, and social aspects.

OWC partner with Humana People to People member organizations. Our students join Humana People to People’s projects during their service period in Africa and Latin America.
All the Humana projects have a common base – help the community to have a self-economic sustainability, because sustainability is a big problem we could see at the projects in Mozambique.
HPPI will strengthen and expand its work in the education sector, especially with teacher training, and work with States to provide quality education to its most vulnerable citizens. HPPI will expand its effort to work with farmers to produce more and better quality products on their land using environmentally sustainable farming methods. The third major thrust is to expand access to finance for poor women through its microfinance project.

The purpose of the community preschool project is to prevent poor children in becoming poor adults. The preschool classes are established in natural villages in remote poverty stricken areas. Closed down spot schools are renovated or other rooms are found and used as classroom. The preschool teachers are recruited locally and trained by Humana People to People (HPP).
This book is an invitation to join hands to do good, together with the people of Zimbabwe.
DAPP in Zimbabwe is of the opinion that it is time to give the people of Zimbabwe a hand, in just the same manner as so many other peoples around the world are
assisted when poverty, epidemics and difficult times hit them.

June 2017, Machava, Mozambique. ADPP Mozambique, a Stop TB Partner, is undertaking active TB case finding covering a population of 214,000 mineworkers, ex-mineworkers, their family members and their communities with the aim of reducing the TB burden in Mozambique, Malawi, Tanzania, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland and Zambia.
The forum was a good opportunity to share the experience of Humana Fundación Pueblo para Pueblo, Humana Portugal and its local partner ADPP-Guinea Bissau in the project 'Renewable energy for rural development in Bissora-Oio', which was completed at the end of last year and funded by the European Union.
DAPP Zambia, a member of Humana People to People, is currently operating a rural small scale farmers program in Pemba district, Southern province of Zambia. The program response focuses on improving the farmers’ resilience regarding effects of climate change, improving livelihood and generation of income for the actively involved small scale farmers. It is expected to contribute, in the long term, to building the resilience of the most vulnerable rural populations in the region.
