10. Increase exports to BRI
countries from China.
To accelerate China’s “Go Global”
policy by internationalization of
Chinese firms and companies to
create world class multinationals
and supply-chains.
Industrial restructuring to compete
internationally, adopt best
practices, improve transparency
and employ foreign workforces
BRI will strengthen China’s
economic and political leadership
role in the BRI regions of Asia,
Africa and Europe
To lead the economic part BRI will assist
China to strengthen RMB’s global role. By
developing easy trading opportunity and
increasing legal money transferring.
BRI will assist in reducing industrial
products oversupply within the
country and sell the products to the
outside markets frequently.
11.
12. Along with the good news and success story of different BRI projects Chinese government has another good news
too !!! And that is Chinese government has launched a program which is titled as the BRI Construction Education.
To support this decision Peking University has launched “Future Leaders” International Undergraduate Program to
train talent and serve the development associated with the Belt and Road activities.
This course will start from the Autumn of 2020. At first 50
students will be enrolled with the dual degree program led
by Guanghua School of Management. Already 14 colleges of
13 countries have joined their hands togather to make this
program a successful one. In this program the international
students will spend the first two years of their
undergraduate education at universities of their home
countries and join the Guanghua school for the next two
years of study.
13. Along with a lot of success story of BRI there are some
challenges too. There are some projects who were
being challenged by the host countries for different
reasons. Here we have to identify the reason to over
come the challenges we face to construct our mission,
vision and dream of One Belt One Road Initiative.
Why ?
WHY DO A PROJECT
FAILS ?
14. 1. Poorly defined
project scope
2. Inadequate
risk management
3. Failure to
identify key
assumptions
4. Project
managers who
lack experience
and training
5. No use of
formal methods
and strategies
6. Lack of
effective
communication
at all levels
7. Key staff
leaving the
project and/or
company
8. Poor
management of
expectations
9. Ineffective
leadership
10. Lack of
detailed
documentation
11. Failure to
track
requirements
12. Failure to
track progress
13. Lack of detail
in the project
plans
14. Inaccurate
time and effort
estimates
15. Cultural
differences in
global projects
15.
16.
17. Along with all the educational qualities related to ‘Science, Arts And Commerce’ we have to take care of the
communication skills too. In the initiative of BRI to become successful we must take care of our
communication efficiency. We all know that a successful communication can work wonders. In that
perspective we have to understand the thoughts and feelings along with the sentiments of the counter side.
And we also have to express our views at the same time. In terms of personal and professional life there are
different stages of communication. To make any personal, professional, economic or humanitarian relation,
the successful communication depends on kindness, steadiness, honesty, punctuality and discipline. To
make this large initiative, ‘One belt One Road (OBOR)’ successful we have to practice all this noble virtue
with the respect to other nations and their cultures.
18.
19. WHAT ARE THE BARRIARS OF EFFECTIVE
COMMUNICATION ?
we have to address the different
barriers of communication to
overcome the hurdle of the
puzzle. We have to follow the
common barriers to effective
communications.
20. 9. Physical disabilities such as hearing problems
or speech difficulties
8. Expectations and prejudices which may lead
to false assumptions or stereotyping. People
often hear what they expect to hear rather than
what is actually said and jump to incorrect
conclusions.
7. Physical barriers to non-verbal
communication. Not being able to see the non-
verbal cues, gestures, posture and general body
language can make communication less
effective. Phone calls, text messages and other
communication methods that rely on technology
are often less effective than face-to-face
communication.
6. Lack of attention, interest, distractions, or
irrelevance to the receiver.
5. Differences in perception and viewpoint due
to different backgrounds
4. Cultural differences. The norms of social
interaction vary greatly in different cultures, as
do the way in which emotions are expressed.
For example, the concept of personal space
varies between cultures and between different
social settings.
3. Emotional barriers and taboos. Some people
may find doing/ listening something difficult
due to some special sentiments. There might be
some TOPICs which are forbidden in a specific
area. Along with that there might be some
historic incidents which are very much sensitive
for discussion.
2. The use of jargon. In terms of using same
language we need to avoid over-complicated,
unfamiliar and/or technical terms to make
ourselves understandable.
1. Language differences and the difficulty in
understanding unfamiliar accents. There are at
least 53 official languages spoken in the 65
countries and regions involved in the BRI
21. Now after considering all these situations we have to look forward towards the successful completion of “Belt
and Road Construction Education”. This education will be actually successful when the students will be able to
achieve their target of Victory in their projects.
To grab the success we have to arrange the course with different perspective to make the students skilled
enough to receive and deliver the thoughts. They must be skilled enough to avoid all the conflicts of the projects
and carry out the responsibilities they own.
It is inevitable that Chinese companies, both SOEs and POEs, will face challenges as they build bigger businesses
in the BRI region.
Choosing a trustworthy local partner with robust local connections can help Chinese investors fulfil some of
these requirements. To reduce exposure to reputational risk, Chinese investors need to set aside costs for
protectionist tariffs, the interests of the local community, and growing environmental protection concerns. But
in all cases the first priority goes to the prime factor “Language”
22. For an effective verbal communication we have already seen language is the most important tool. Chinese
citizens and the citizens from the respective regions must have a ‘Lingua franca’ or the ‘Bridge Language’. To
achieve the best level we must take up the most common language which is understandable for all. In that case
English is the prime choice.
Why learning English is important
1. English is the most commonly spoken language in the world. 1 out of 5 people can speak or at least
understand English!
2. English is the official language of 53 countries. English is spoken as a first language by 400 million people
around the world.
3. English is the language of science, economy, aviation, computers, diplomacy, and tourism.
4. English is the language of the media industry.
5. English is also the language of the Internet. Majority of the websites are written in English or at least have the
option of English Version. You will be able to understand them and to take part in forums and discussions.
Language Communication
23. 6. English is based on a simple and small amount of alphabet (26 letters) and it is fairly quick and easy to learn
compared to other languages.
7. English is not only useful – it gives you a lot of satisfaction. Because every hour you spend learning gets you
closer to perfection.
8. Since English is spoken in so many different countries there are thousands of schools around the world that offer
programs in English. If you speak English, there're lots of opportunities for you to find an appropriate school and
course to suit your academic needs. As a result, you can go abroad for your desired education.
9. By learning English, you will also learn about other cultures; their values, habits and way of life in a culture that is
different from yours.
10. Remember, English is the main language of these countries where there is lots of languages spoken, like in India
where more than 700 languages are spoken by their local people.
25. 1. There are at least 53 official languages spoken in the 65 countries and regions involved in the BRI, but only
about 20 of them have been taught to foreign language majors at higher education institutions in the
country, said Wang Jun Feng, president of the All China Lawyers Association. Supporting this statement, we
can see, in 2016, the Shanghai International Studies University started encouraging students to master at
least two foreign languages, along with intercultural communication skills. It is now offering new majors in
Hungarian, Polish, Kazak, Uzbek and Czech.
2. Along with successful training of languages the students should be trained to be successful in any
negotiation.
3. There should be the course based on the history and culture of the BRI countries to understand the local
norms and lifestyle of the citizens.
4. Their should be a course of psychology to understand the mental vibes of the specific situations of the
relevant people.
5. Along with that to deal with the physically challenged people they should get some knowledge about the
non verbal communication.
In Addition: we have to remember that
26. Types of Disability Measured
•Vision - Serious difficulty seeing
•Hearing - Serious difficulty hearing
•Speaking – can not speak or difficulty in speaking
•Self-care – Difficulty in dressing or bathing
•Independent Living - Difficulty doing errands alone
•Mobility - Serious difficulty walking or climbing stairs
•Cognition - Serious difficulty concentrating, remembering, thinking or making decision,
Learning, mental health, communicating & social relationship.
One in 4 U.S. adults - 61 million Americans - have a disability that impacts major life activities, according to a
report in CDC's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.
"At some point in their lives, most people will either have a disability or know someone who has a one," said
Coleen Boyle, Ph.D.
The World Bank estimates that 20%of the world's poorest people have some kind
of disability
29. These are also languages; the non-verbal language.
Here we don’t want to discuss the number of disable
people. But we should count them too. Hence the
students under BRI can also exchange their views or
help these people in any way Understanding there
helplessness of the disable people in communicating
others I thought of raising this point for consideration
to the forum.
30. Therefore if we can structure the “Belt And Road Communication Education”
with all the possible equipment in a full-proof way to turning the students into
the effective instruments to build up the initiative successfully !!!
