PR Campaign Aims:
1. To inform and encourage the public by tuning into human-interest stories.
2. To increase publicity of the show by increasing social media appearance:
a) Twitter twitter.com/OnTheRoadCBS

3.05M Followers 377 Following 55.7K Tweets
b) Create Facebook Like/Follow Page
3. Suggestions:
a) Retweet CBS News broadcasts and talent that promote upcoming stories,
segments, behind-the-scenes photos and interesting information
b) Keep social media updated weekly, in order to try to engage in conversations with
viewers, or start conversation within the viewership about their opinion of the
stories covered.
c) Use hashtags that are trending to engage audience
d) Post original statuses and tweets and photos
4. Increase appearance in print media. Set up press conference with journalists that would
be interested in the show.
