University students, digital nomadic (remote) workers, people in
transition phases and gap year students all have one thing in
common. They are young and are offered a variety of options for
their life, career and personal success.
„ON BOARD provides an environment where the individual
flourishes and radiates this energy to the social and natural
environment. In one month an On Boarder not only discovers the
places of the foreign country through the eyes of himself, the
group and a variety of mentors. Moving through a country enables
an On Boarder to travel through one’s own self and discover or re-
discover hidden strengths and weaknesses, all of which want to be
shared inside the group of curious, passionate and highly active
and creative fellow On Boarders.“

9. How does an ON BOARD journey look like?
Up to 25 people travel-learning the world
A group of On Boarders from all over the world are traveling
around the country, learning through various experiences and
matching their skills with the needs of the communities we visit.
We spent the first week in and around Bogotá and visited Ciudad Bolivar, Pedro Medina’s Peace
Museum, the permaculture-based farm La Minga in Choachí, learned how to make the very
healthy Kombucha, visited the alternative school Kalopa and an underground salt cathedral.
The next 3 weeks we stayed in a local coffee farm, helped picking coffee beans (cherries), visited
little towns like Filandia, Chinchina, La Merced and the „slow city“ Pijao. Near Jardin we met the
indigenous tribe „Karamata Rua“, joined Holy Week in Santa Fe de Antioquia, did parachuting
and had a wonderful time in Bolombolo for shared learning and self-reflection, and much more.
