8. In practical terms, what are the actual effects of creating an olfactory
ambiance in the public areas of a hotel?
To answer these fundamental questions, we carried out some research
with customers at Novotel Zurich Airport.
Survey methodology
A questionnaire was left in each room of the hotel for a period of 30
days. During this period, Ôme diffused scents in public areas. During
this month of testing, the hotel lobby and bar were perfumed.

is not a simple scent. Its unique composition of extremely long-lasting neutralising
agents is effective across a wide spectrum of odours. It neutralises unwanted odours
resulting from the degradation of organic matter, human odours, cigarette smoke and
cooking odours.
Our technology is based on oxidation-reduction reactions. The active molecules in
this odour neutraliser contact with the molecules responsible for the odour and
oxidise and "neutralise" them.
Usage: Neutraluxe is sprayed into the air in a location. It slowly releases its active ingredients in
contact with the air for long-lasting and practically complete neutralisation. Neutraluxe has a

The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) code of practice provides
standards for the safe use of certain fragrance components in consumer
products. There are 11 categories of end products, for which different limits
have been set for each substance used.
Essential oil chemotypes
This certification guarantees a botanically certified distilled plant, the
specific part of the plant distilled, a defined chemotype and high quality
steam distillation. It also guarantees a 100% natural essential oil which is
not denatured by synthetic components, oils, or mineral essences, 100%
pure, not diluted with other essential oils, fatty oils or alcohols, 100%
natural, not decoloured, not treated with peroxide, not treated to remove
terpenes and not rectified.

classified CMR 1 or 2 (Carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic). Our packaging contains
