Olinda is a prototype DAB radio that allows users to share what they are listening to with friends, customize it with modular hardware additions, and aims to spark discussion about the future of radio design for the home. It explores social features to help users discover new stations and programs and have conversations, makes it easy to retune between stations for a mixed programming experience, and has a modular design. However, it only receives DAB broadcasts for the prototype.
