To establish a career in engineering where I can demonstrate the learning outcomes of the Mechanical Engineering
program of the Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP), a program accredited by the US-based outcomes-oriented
ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology), Engineering Accreditation Commission.
Design Project: Fluid Machinery Design
An individual project which includes the ideal design of piping network (theoretical and actual flow per building
block), water tanks, series and parallel piping hydro power plant using engineering formulas and principles.
Design Project: Refrigeration Systems
A project in groups which involves the application of refrigeration systems using basic engineering principles and
formulas.
Design Project: Air-conditioning and Ventilation System
A group projectwhich involves a proposed centralized air conditioning and ventilation system of a factory cafeteria
using basic HVAC engineering principles and formulas.

Self Electric Generating Aquarium (SEGA)
In four (4) years ofstudying in TIP with its orientation towards outcome-based education, I have acquired and demonstrate
the following student acquired outcomes (knowledge, skills and attitude) necessary to the practice of engineering
profession:
 Analyze complex problems and identify and define the engineering requirements appropriate for solutions
 Use techniques, skills and tools of the engineering practice in complex computing activities
 Understand professional, ethical, legal, security and social issues and responsibilities relevant to professional
engineering practice
 Has a positive attitude towards work and can work effectively under pressure
 A team player, hardworking and flexible to working schedule
 Can work with minimal supervision
