This document outlines the process for discussing a student art project related to assigned readings. It involves 3 parts: 1) Initial discussion where the class observes the art and determines the associated reading without input from the artist. 2) The artist explains their interpretation and how it relates to the reading. 3) A general discussion where the class can ask the artist questions. It also provides a rubric for grading the project and lists readings to consider for an upcoming literature circle discussion focused on gender and sexuality.
