setting the table and home maintenance

categories that are accessible to the person in
need.
THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE
INTERVENTION ARE:
 Development, retention and recovery of each person as
much as possible
 Compensation of the handicaped functions by
stimulation of the valid functions
 Increasing the health and self esteem of the person
INTERVENTION PLANNING STAGES
 Choice of objectives
 Development plan – suittable therapeutic methods and procedures
 Implementation of the plan in three phases:orientation phase, development
phase, the final phase
 Equipment selection and adaptation of the used equipment
 Registration and assessment of the results
Evaluation of the ergotherapy program is checking the efficiency of the
therapeutic program, outlines the necessary changes and determines the
moment of its end.
ERGOTHERAPY
In Romania, ergotherapy is a branch of occupational therapy.
The essential probleme: recovery work capacity of people with disabilities in
order to move towards an active and useful life for themselves and for society.
ERGOTHERAPY GOALS:
 Increasing confidences and natural developing of the person;
 Organizing programs directed towards movements in working;
 Assessing outstanding capabilities and talents of the subject;
 Reinsertion of the subject in social, economic an profesional life;
 Development of personal autonomy of the student
