The Northwest Community College Initiative (NWCCI) requires students to complete a 60-hour unpaid internship related to their academic and career goals during the 2015-2016 academic year. The program, funded by a U.S. State Department grant, aims to foster skill development and cultural awareness among participants from 10 countries. Students are engaged in various fields such as business management, hospitality, and information technology, while internship providers benefit from hiring highly motivated individuals with diverse perspectives.
