Paul answers that Jews have significant benefits, including being entrusted with God's revelations. He intends to fully list these advantages later when discussing whether God remains faithful to Israel through Christ. Romans 3:1-8 briefly addresses this question before Paul thoroughly covers it in Romans 9-11, where he finishes listing the privileges of Jews such as adoption, covenants, and the promises made to their ancestors.

If I am converted from a life of sin and darkness to a life in Christ, what is the evidence. In part two of this series we look at the final five evidences that we are truly converted and committed to being a disciple of Jesus.
1 Kings 9:3 And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there.
In first of King chapter 9 verse 3, Solomon receives an answer to the prayer he made to Jehovah for the building of the temple, now what does this represent? That Solomon is a figure of Jesus Christ resurrected and that we are that temple that he builds:
1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
If first of Corinthians chapter 3 verse 16 tells us that we are the temple of God therefore someone built us, who built us is called Jesus Christ by believing in Him.
When Jesus Christ comes into our lives, presents us before God as a temple and intercedes for us so that we may be heard before God and that His presence may be in us, when Jesus Christ does this the Father answers Him according to his prayer and supplication.1
Romans 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is rise again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also taketh intercession for us.
What the Father answers about us is that he sanctifies us to put his name in us, and his eyes and heart may be in us every day.
1 Kings 9:3 And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Our Father had the Israelites build the tent of meeting, and he told them to exactly according to the pattern He commanded them. Today, His house is His people, the church. Shouldn’t we make sure that we make His house exactly according to His pattern.
The Bible tells that God gave the Land between the River of Egypt (Mitsyarim) and Perath River to the blood descendants of Abraham. Subsequently, God expanded the writ of Abraham to encompass all believers in One God. God did not give any land to either the blood descendants or to the followers after this expansion. Thus, it is possible that the Bible does not sanction the capture of the Land between the River of Mitsyarim and Perath River by the Jewish Community.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

1. The Study of Roman 3:1-4:20
By Jean Smith
Paul answers in verse 2 that there are great benefits to being a Jew.
"Great in every respect." Then he begins a list of advantages (verse 2b),
but he only mentions one thing: "First of all, that they were entrusted
with the oracles of God." Paul stops here because he intends to finish
this list later (in 9:4-5). In fact, this whole problem of whether God is
being faithful to his covenant with Israel in the work of Christ is taken
up in Romans 9-11, so that Romans 3:1-8 is just a brief detour to deflect
the criticism until he gets to Romans 9. There he finishes the list like
this: ". . . who are Israelites, to whom belongs the adoption as sons, and
the glory and the covenants and the giving of the Law and the temple
service and the promises, whose are the fathers, and from whom is the
Christ according to the flesh, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen
