The student attended Franz Peter Schubert Elementary School from kindergarten through 5th grade, where they volunteered tutoring 2nd graders. They have been attending Northwest Middle School for the past 2 years, joining the Jofferey Dance Club in 6th grade and the Drama Club in 7th grade, playing Sweeney Todd. The student hopes to attend Northside College Prep after 8th grade due to its high scores and would like to join potential drama and debate clubs there.

2. Schubert I came from Franz Peter Schubert Elementary School. I attended that school from Kindergarten – 5 th grade. It is located at 2727 N. Long Ave. In 5 th grade, I volunteered to tutor 2 nd graders in an after-school program.

3. Northwest I have attended Northwest Middle School for 2 years, and this is my 3 rd and last year attending here. In 6 th grade, I joined the Jofferey Dance Club, and stayed in that throughout the entire year. Many people did not, but I remained dedicated to it. In 7 th grade, I joined the Northwest Middle School Drama Club, and I found out that I like to act, so I remained in it the whole year. In May, we hosted the play “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”, and I played the part of Joanna. This year, I hope to once again join the drama club.

4. Northside College Prep When I finish 8 th grade, I would love to go to Northside College Prep. I did research, and this school had the best overall scores. This school earned 100% of the available points on the performance policy in the 2009-2010 school year. If I got into this school, I would do my best in all courses. Courses that I was interested in was joining a drama club, if there was one, and the debate team.
