NME is a British music publication that has been issuing magazines since 1952. In 2012, NME celebrated its 60th anniversary by releasing collector's editions featuring major music stars like the Gallagher brothers, Arctic Monkeys, and Patti Smith on the covers. One of NME's most famous covers was from 1995 highlighting the rivalry between Blur and Oasis as they battled for chart success. Oasis has appeared on the most NME covers of any band, being featured 55 times with Noel Gallagher appearing an additional 15 times and Liam Gallagher 11 times. NME has also put non-musicians on covers such as casts from The Inbetweeners and Little Britain TV shows.
