The document proposes a mobile app to increase consumption of fruits and vegetables among tertiary students aged 17-25 who are concerned about acne and its effects on self-esteem. It aims to motivate users by allowing them to see staged improvements to their self-images through facial rendering as they input their daily diet. Initial testing of a prototype via SMS inputs from 30 participants and a post-test survey found that seeing improved self-images was addictive and helped users better visualize the benefits, creating behavioral change and increased awareness of fruits and vegetables' benefits. The app plans to include a "Diet-pedia" component to provide additional nutritional knowledge.
