DINOSAUR BONES
UNEARTHED
NEW YORK, July 14 (A.A.P.).
-
Complete dinosaur skeletons,
some as big as horses, have been
unearthed in Lindrith, New Mexico,
by an expedition from the New
York Museum of Natural History.
The museum says that the skeletons
arc those of dinosaurs which roamed
the North American continent 200
million years ago. The skeletons
show that they had very long hind
legs, on which they ran, and short
forelegs, with which they seized their
prey.
Although they were comparatively
small for dinosaurs, they were ap-
parently savagely carnivorous, and
they may have been the ancestors of
the great flesh-eating dinosaurs of
later ages.
