Performance analysis of the various distributed file systems for cloud computing
storage. Reviewed various distributed file systems like Google File System, Hadoop
Distributed File System and Disk Reduce. Further analyzed the file replication
mechanisms used in these file system and proposed the best suitable algorithm for
HDFS. Simulated both the file systems and compared them on the basis parameters
like File Availability and aggregate bandwidth utilization of the cluster.
