‘Positive Carbon’ Copenhagen Agreement Dec.2009
• A globally enforceable agreement– replacing Kyoto- is
announced by the Presidents of USA, China, and EU
• Carbon regime set up around the world.
• Cascaded down to city-states and regions to be accountable for
action at the local level
• The Canterbury region is expected to develop its own Carbon
Positive strategy
