Yard Maintenance
Common Areas — Vehicles Prohibited
Regular weekly mowing and edging of your yard should already be underway. Remember when
you go on vacation your grass does not – make arrangements for it to be mowed. It is not too
late for weed treatment. Weeds grow faster than grass so eliminating weeds will help with your
yard maintenance.
Motorized vehicles (2 or more wheels) are prohibited within the common areas or on the neigh-
borhood sidewalks. Save your golf cart for the golf course!
2016 Main Pool Schedule
Pool hours during the 2016 season:
7:00 AM - 9:00 AM lap swimming
9:00 AM - 10:00 PM open swim
Pool opens for 2016: Friday, April 15, 5:00 PM
Pool closes for 2016: Sunday, Sept 25, 10:00 PM
The schedule for the West Pool can be found on Page 4 of this newsletter.

Dog Leashing
Leash your dog when it is out of your home and fenced yard. This will keep your
dog and others safe. Any dog may become startled or excited and dart into the
roadway or run toward others and/or their pets. Visit the new town dog park, the
Hound Mound, if you would like your pet to run off leash.
Mosquitos
Mosquitos are not just a nuisance – they can carry disease! Water from rain or irri-
gation systems provide breeding opportunities. Check your front and backyard for anything
that can collect water and become a possible breeding ground. This includes:
planters (especially empty planters and planters with saucers)
watering cans
lids to containers stored outside (example: containers for pool chemicals)
pool toys, floats and loungers (water can get trapped in the drink holders)
Birdbaths
Firepits
pools (inground, baby play and pet)
trash cans
Be vigilant with your yard and store items in your garage or an approved storage unit.
Clubhouse Access
Did you know that children living in your household that are at least 15 years of age may
purchase their own access card for use? They need only schedule an orientation with the
fitness office 972-874-8329 and bring a $25 check payable to Wellington of Flower
Mound.
Please remind the members of your household that they must have an access card to enter
the clubhouse. The gym is open from 5 am to 11 pm. Staying after 11 pm may result in
incurring a charge for a false alarm.
Your access card may not be loaned to others, outside your household, for use.
Members are financially responsible for any person they admit to the clubhouse.
Replacement cards may be purchased if lost. Contact the fitness office 972-874-8329 to
report a lost card.
