ECONOMIC UPDATES
 After more than two decades, The Reserve Bank of India will soon put in
circulation currency notes in one rupee denomination. The notes to be
issued would be legal tender as provided in The Coinage Act 2011.
 To root out black money, Government determined that Knowingly
inflating the value of exports and imports for those who seek to conceal
income could be punished by up to seven years in jail and heavier fines.
 The government looking to bring in a comprehensive bankruptcy code to
improve the country's position in World Bank's 'ease of doing business'
rankings.
SEBI/CORPORATE UPDATES
 MCA General Circular No.03/2015 issued Clarification relating to filing of
e-form DIR-11 & DIR-12 under the Companies Act, 2013.
 SEBI announced a simplified account opening form for new individual
investors and eased the process for submitting address proof documents.
 The Centre has asked states to develop a land bank by June end to ensure
ready land availability for the industry, as it looks to accelerate the 'Make
in India' drive.
RBI/TAX LAW UPDATES
 Vide RBI Notification ref RBI/2014-15/489 DCBR.BPD. (PCB/RCB).
Cir.No.19/16.11.00/2014-15 dated March 4, 2015 the Bank Rate stands
adjusted by 25 basis points from 8.75 per cent to 8.5 per cent with effect
from March 4, 2015.
 Vide NOTIFICATION NO. 335/2015-RB dated February 4th, 2015 the
Reserve Bank of India hereby makes the amendment in the Foreign
Exchange Management (Acquisition and Transfer of Immovable Property
in India) (Amendment) Regulations, 2015.
