SEBI/CORPORATE UPDATES
 MCA has issued General Circular no. 01/2015 dated 03.02.2015 regarding
Constitution of a High Level Committee to suggest measures for improved
monitoring of the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility
policies by the companies under Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013.
 To prevent money laundering and combat financing of terrorism through
commodity markets, regulator FMC issued guidelines for bourses for
implementing provisions of the PML Act.
 Maharashtra govt. increases Death cum retirement gratuity limit to Rs. 7
lakhs.
 Listed companies doled out nearly Rs 1,600 crore in terms of audit fee
during 2013-14 financial year.
 SEBI barred Andhra Pradesh-based Agri Gold Farm Estates India from
raising fresh capital from the public with immediate effect. Agri Gold Farm
Estates India Pvt Ltd (AGFEIPL) was running 'collective investment
schemes (CIS)' without obtaining registration from the regulator

 Vide RBI Notification Ref RBI/2014-15/452 DBR.No.BP.BC. 71/21.0
6.201/2014-15 dated February 5, 2015, Guidelines for implementation of
Countercyclical Capital Buffer (CCCB) have been issued.
 Vide Notification ref RBI/2014-15/454 FMRD.DIRD.5/14.03. 002/ 2014-
15 dated February 05, 2015, RBI has permitted All Market Participants re-
repo of government securities, including state development loans and
Treasury Bills, acquired under reverse repo.
 Vide RBI Circular ref RBI/2014-15/453 A.P. (DIR Series) Circular No.72
dated February 5, 2015, FPIs shall be permitted to invest in government
securities, the coupons received on their existing investments in
government securities. AD Category – I banks shall ensure reporting of
such investments as may be prescribed from time to time.
 Notification No. 11/2015 [F.No.142/7/2014-TPL] Dated-4thFebruary, 2015
issued by CBDT regarding Safe Harbour Rules for Specified Domestic
Transactions of Govt. Electricity Companies.
