The Joint Graduate School for Plant and Food Science is hosting an event to celebrate Fascination of Plants Day. The event will include talks on orchids and their pollinators, the adaptation of plants from Polynesia to New Zealand's climate, and Psa disease in kiwifruit. There will also be interactive displays on unusual fruits, fungi, plant viruses, eating plant DNA, and growing complete plants from single cells. The event aims to highlight the importance of plants and will take place from 1-4pm at the Biology Building at the University of Auckland.
