 According to ATRI (American Transportation
Research Institute) when trucks are using
commercial GPS that do not account for truck-
specific routes, there’s an increase in bridge
strikes and overall reduced efficiency. The truck
drivers weren’t simply taking the most direct
routes.
 With the aim to reduce extra miles, Vnomics was
asked by commercial trucking customers for
hands-free navigation accounting for truck-
specific routes and allowing to communicate
drop-off/pick-up locations with their drivers.

 Sygic Truck Navigation was the first choice navigation
software for Vnomics. It is offline turn-by-turn
navigation using specially defined maps with truck
attributes automatically avoiding roads not suitable for
truck or specific cargo.

with API interface allowed easy integration into
Vnomics in-cab system. The ability to send an
address from the dispatch office directly to the truck
based navigation improved the efficiency of Vnomic`s
commercial trucking customers.
