funded significant improvements to
Pressbooks for EDU applications:

4. Cloning
Any openly licensed Pressbooks book can
now be cloned (or copied) from one
Pressbooks network to another, by simply
adding the URL.

8. Interactive elements
Add interactive elements (including
audio, video, phet sims, open
assessments and more) by adding a
URL. Pressbooks will display the
content on the web, and provide
graceful fallbacks in all exports.

12. A placeholder text, with a link to the
interactive element is added to export
formats that don’t support interactivity.

13. H5p (interactive quizzes)
Create h5p interactive quizzes, questions
and elements, from inside the Pressbooks
admin interface.

Redesigned, customizable, responsive

18. Catalog page
Redesigned, sortable, responsive Pressbooks
catalog page.

20. Responsive webbook
Redesigned, responsive and accessible
Pressbooks webbook.

Two new book themes, developed
specifically to better support textbook and
academic designs: McLuhan and Jacobs.

26. Submission to DSPACE repository
Connect a Pressbooks system to a DSPACE
repository, and easily submit books (URL,
exported files, and metadata) into the
DSPACE system.
