Camp Ursa Major is a traditional day camp in Napa for kids from kindergarten through 10th grade. The camp focuses on building citizenship and environmental stewardship through activities like kayaking, hiking, art and cooking outdoors. Groups are led by counselors and have a staff to camper ratio of 1 to 6 for younger kids and 1 to 10 for older kids. The camp runs several theme weeks over the summer with activities like going green, Hollywood Hills and deep space themes. Parents are asked to send lunches and appropriate clothing for warm weather activities.
