'NO BORDERS, ALL MEDIUMS, ART IS CURRENCY'
IS THE CONSISTENT MANTRA THAT RESOUNDS DEEP IN THE CORE OF
THE DRIVING ETHOS OF WORLD MONEY GALLERY.
CELEBRATING IDEAS, THOUGHTS, AND CREATIONS THROUGH VARIOUS MEDIUMS
AND ORIGINS, WORLD MONEY GALLERY PRIDES ITSELF AS AN ENTITY THAT BINDS AND
SUPPORTS ALL ARTISTIC FORCES WITHIN ITS ENVIRONMENT.
'NO BORDERS' A SYMBOL OF UNITY BETWEEN DIFFERING LOCATIONS, BELIEFS, AND EXPERIENCES,
'ALL MEDIUMS' CALLS FOR THE SAME APPRECIATION AND RESPECT BETWEEN ART FORM TO ART FORM.
THESE ARE CEMENTED BY THE PHILOSOPHY THAT
'ART IS CURRENCY'
THAT THE CONCEPTS AND MAKINGS WE CULTIVATE,
WE SHARE, AND TAKE IN FROM OTHERS, ENRICH US ALL.

HOW WE LOVED YOU; HOW MANY WINTERS AGO
INAUGURAL SHOW (FEB. 13 - MAR. 5)
How we loved you, how many winters ago consists of a series of photographs,
paintings, drawings, and collages that follow a nostalgic theme of love and loss.
Through these mediums, the artists have drawn inspiration from
past moments in time, certain gestures, the curvature of a body,
moments engrained within the heart, flesh, and mind.
This exploration of a territory so familiar to most,
has brought up the question, “where do we go from here?”

PEEP SHOW
VOYEURISM (MAR. 12 - 31)
The Voyeur and the human gaze has been an incessant trope within the art;
a relentless entity for centuries imbued under the oils of paintings, the silver of
photographs, and the notes of music. Today, the concept of voyeurism has
manifested itself within our daily lives with an inherent hunger to survey and
obsess over the days and details of other individuals and in turn, the hope to be
scoured with a reciprocated fervor. Peepshow is a body of work that observes
and surveys this concept, the desire to see and to be seen.. Like foreign countries,
each piece of work welcomes their viewers to explore and their lush and saturdated
landscapes.

HUNDRED
SMALL WORKS EXHIBITION (APR. 10 - MAY 12)
Through various mediums, Hundred addresses a lack of human accessibility
which is a frustratingly prevalent aspect that plagues the art world. From
convoluted, intangible concepts to the notion that art is for the elite and wealthy.
These issues weaken the core value that art is meant for all people; to be seen and
interpreted, molded and digested. Similar to previous exhibitions, How We Loved
You, How Many Winters Ago and Peep $how, Hundred features a diverse group of
established artists eager to share their visions with people who possess a similar
hunger. With an emphasis on smaller scale works, Hundred beckons the viewer to
come closer in order to truly appreciate the concepts and qualities that come with
smaller works. With attainable outlays and concepts eager to be clearly heard,
Hundred is a body of work for the people, free of exclusivity and limitations.

PARLOR TRICKS
GUEST CURATION (APR. 7 - MAY 4)
In the solace of making art, a haven of support holds essential, where one can
dance in the dust of thoughts and makings. When discovered, we hold it's earth
palm hard, breath it's copper scent.
Project Parlor shares this sentiment as an artistic space and social venue, binding
various talents under the same roof via monthly exhibitions.
'Parlor tricks' April's featured collection curated by World Money Gallery and Ethos
and Iron Tattoo, rings saturated with talented artists, who complement each other in
their inherent prowess in their respective mediums.

DuSo Life/DuYoga
Bi-Monthly Yoga Class (Sat. Morn. 10am - 1pm)
A unique full body work out, in an art filled environment. The class is a beautiful
blend of Yoga flow, calisthenics, and pilates!
World Money Gallery’s Drink and Draw Events
As a collective, we wanted to open the gallery space to provide an opportunity for our artists,
novice artists, and everyone in between to have access to a conducive experiemntal
platform to partake in a live figure drawing experience from a broad, eclectic stand point with minimal cost.
World Money Gallery x Juliana ‘Jelly’ Morrison
MAY DAY
POP-UP REVOLUTIONARY BASED EXHIBIT (MAY 6 - 13)
The group show curated by Juiliana ‘Jelly’ Morrison is focused on promoting political
and social change through art, music, and civic engagement. Jelly’s self-published
OKFORU zine is the highlight of the exhibit and offers innovativemethods of protesting
current injustices in society. Those in powerarent so interested in how or why people
revolt insofar as they seek to maintain silence of subjegated groups. Jelly wants you
to climb the towers of power and take to the streets in undergound ways.
With our drink and draw
events we wanted to explore
a new approach to the
standard execution;
thus applying a twist to the
name itself. For our first
event we decided to go with
the popular theme of
“Drake” as it interplayed so
well with the initial alliteration.
Moving forward from last month's
Drake and Draw, our theme for
round two is Drag and Draw!!
We will be doing live, timed figure
drawing poses. Our figure model
will be an absolutely fabulous
drag queen, whose famed identity
will be revealed at the event!
