Speeding fines and costs have increased in Alberta for 2015. Driving in a construction zone at more than 20 km/h over the posted limit will now result in a fine of $543 and 6 demerit points. Additionally, speeding anywhere else more than 20 km/h over the limit will result in a $368 fine and 3 demerit points.
