Nestle has committed to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. To accomplish this, Nestle will take actions across its value chain to reduce emissions from sourcing ingredients, manufacturing products, packaging, logistics, and product use. Key plans include sourcing 50% of key ingredients through regenerative agriculture by 2030, using 100% renewable electricity in its operations by 2025, making all packaging recyclable or reusable by 2025, and working with suppliers and customers to reduce emissions. Nestle recognizes that most of its emissions come from its supply chain, so collaborating throughout the value chain will be essential to achieving its net zero goal.
