Neil Druckmann is a video game designer and director who has worked at Naughty Dog for over 10 years. He co-wrote and co-designed the popular Uncharted franchise and wrote and directed The Last of Us, which released in 2010. For The Last of Us, Druckmann drew inspiration from BBC documentaries and books about how the world would change if humans disappeared. He aimed to create an immersive game world where the environment reflected the story. Druckmann also pushed the actors, like Troy Baker who voiced Joel, to give their best performances through the use of performance capture.
