Project Description:
Employee's State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), a statutory corporation, under the ministry of labor &
employment, Government of India (GOI), for which we have designed, developed and implemented an
enterprise-wide Data Warehouse.
The purpose of this project is to combine information from different separate source systems (ERP &
HIS) into one centralized Database (DW) and experience single point access for the reports that will
be effectively used to give solutions about the Key Business areas which helps in Analysis and Decision
making of Top Management.
Responsibilities:
1. Developing BI Reports and Dashboards for different modules like HIS, Finance, Insurance etc.
2. Prepared Jobs to fetch data from various applications into landing zone.
3. Extracting data from different data sources and transforming it as per the requirement of the
customer and then loading it into a Data Warehouse using SAS DI.
4. Defining Hierarchy to the dimension for providing drill down facility in the reports using SAS
Cube Studio.
5. Scheduling of DI Jobs and Cubes by creating flows in SMC using Schedule Manager and then
schedule those flows through LSF.
