A war can be waged (or invited) against (or from) nations, so
can it be against or from organizations, or individuals. The
basis or intention for a war could be ethical or unethical, so
can be the basis or intention for creation and use of a
technology. When the basis or intention is unethical, the
hands of such technology stakeholders (investors, sponsors,
creators, and promoters) can be seen as stained with the sweat
or blood of the victims; academia, research/industry
professionals, and user community involved with such
technologies can be seen as staining their hands with the same
sweat or blood, though, to varying degrees. “All the perfumes
of Arabia will not sweeten such hands.”
Peace, to sustain and to thrive, needs to be rooted in strength
and needs to be based on ethics. At the heart of the matter,
ethics revolves around life supportive words, and deeds. War
or peace decisions need to be guided by life supportive
thoughts, so need be the decisions to create and use

can achieve these qualities, then conflict can be minimized and global peace can be guaranteed. The influence
of sports on character formation and social cohesion has direct bearing on peaceful attitudes. The development
of emotional fitness, self-esteem, need for recognition, sense of belonging and feelings of anger, hostility and
aggression are all met through participation in competitive sports. The sports environment starting with the
athletes, coaches, umpires, spectators and vendors should all portray peace and act in a manner the peace can

Conflict is an important part of human existence and a natural part of our daily life. Conflict can either be
positive or negative depending on how it is handled. Conflict can emanate from various sources, within us,
school, home and community or the society at large. Achieving global peace means creating peace within
individuals, communities and the society. Sports as a veritable tool for social transformation can be effectively
utilized to achieve a certain level of peace among individuals and nations. This paper focused on the possibility
of utilizing the values of sports in creating understanding, tolerance, and respect for human dignity,
development of moral values and social integration as a vehicle for creating peace among nations. If nations
can achieve these qualities, then conflict can be minimized and global peace can be guaranteed. The influence
of sports on character formation and social cohesion has direct bearing on peaceful attitudes. The development
of emotional fitness, self-esteem, need for recognition, sense of belonging and feelings of anger, hostility and
aggression are all met through participation in competitive sports. The sports environment starting with the
athletes, coaches, umpires, spectators and vendors should all portray peace and act in a manner the peace can
prevail. To prevent conflict and achieve global peace, sport managers, handlers and enthusiasts must develop
the capacity to detect conflicting situations among nations and develop strategies in sports to deal with before it
erupts.
Virtuous Human Values Limit World's Ravages
This study aims to draw the attention of individuals, politicians and leaders to the importance of
virtuous human values and their role in spreading love harmony and peace in all parts of the world. The most
important of these values is altruism that must be instilled when educating generations because it generates
good and prevents evils, woes, malevolence as well as calamities. Reliance on international laws, spending huge
funds on the organizations that keep peace around the world, neglecting spreading of virtuous human values
and failure to maintain them complicates the world's problems and reduces the chances of solving them. When
the qualities of altruism, modesty, benevolence, mercy, compassion, tolerance and justice prevail; the

It is best to have a broad vision beyond arguments around gender-defined terms.

Gathering information alone is not enough without wisdom to guide its use. However, wisdom also requires reliable information to be effective. Mistakes due to lack of wisdom are generally worse than those due to incorrect information. When gathering information, one must consider privacy, ownership, and the ethical use of technology, and ensure information about others goes hand in hand with self-knowledge and purpose. Actions taken based on information require wisdom in interpretation and intention to yield long-term benefits according to principles like understanding, forgiveness, discernment, and enforcement as a last resort.
Life, Death, and Euthanasia

Followers should recognize shared values across religions and inquire into the educational purpose behind their own religion's symbols and customs.
