our staff’s involvement. The hospitable reception and the personal
attention: every single staff member makes an absolute effort to secure

A special element regarding the NBC Congrescentrum is that we are
originally a family run organization. Our devotion and the high degree of
individual attention we pay to our guests is unique for that reason. We
can assure you that our staff members will recognise you after your very

From 1992 already, the NBC Congrescentrum has organized
countless exhibitions, conventions and other large events. Through the
years we have gained a wealth of know-how and expertness in

convention or event at our center it can be said that the entire event

just one week. All our staff maximized their dedication and worked with

INTERNET
NBC is the place to business. Hence, we always provide the most
innovating devices and best products available. Beside the fact that
all our meeting rooms are equipped with comfortable furnishings, our
conference rooms are on top of that accommodated with a
professional projector and screen facilities. Both the Grand Hall and
the Event Hall have the latest LED lighting and audio-visual means
which you can use. We gladly inform you about the rental options
and the appropriate prices.
The NBC Congrescentrum has three separate glass fibre
connectoins, 2 of 100 MB each and 1 of 10 MB. Consequently
you always have access to super fast internet. With these glass
fibre connections you have several possibilities to gain internet
access.
1. You can choose our free wireless internet facilities
2. You can choose your own wireless network. For this we charge an
one-off-surcharge
3. We provide a wired ADSL internet connection directly to your pc or
server
Specific wishes regarding networks access with special configurations
can easily be carried out by us. Preceding the event, our IT-partner
can join us to draw up an inventory of your needs and will come up
with a suitable solution. The setting up and helping out of your wants
is done on the spot during your event. These options are not included
in our ‘standard facilities’ and therefore will be offered as an item in
our proposal. Evidently, we accomplished the most complex facilities
for companies such as Microsoft, HP, Intrex and SAS.

The food choice listed in this information brochure reflects our vision
with regard to food in all its simplicity, complexity and compositions.
Ultimately, the seasons determine the selection and composition of the
dishes. The supply and availability of ingredients combined with our
explicit wish to stimulate sustainable corporate responsibilities, can
result in exchanging dishes and ingredients with each other. It goes
without saying that this does not lead to making any concessions as
far as the quality and taste of our food is concerned.
Modern terminologies as CSR, organic, ecological, fair trade, MSC,
Rain Forest Alliance and waste control are the pillars for the
composition of the many dishes we serve. Apart from these
ingredients more is still done to optimise the well-being of your guests.

Your guests are welcomed in one of our Nespresso Coffee Corners
with a sweet treat. Furthermore, we serve a fresh cup of coffee
and/or tea and sodas during the break. In the meeting room we
put mineral water and sweets/mints on the tables.
Audio-visual devices and equipment
In the meeting room we provide a screen, a projector and a flip chart
with a selection of markers. Within the parts of day stated.

Less than 10 people we charge
a one-time fare of € 59,50
This package includes a suitable plenary conference room,
accomplished in the desired set up.
Food Beverage
Your guests are welcomed in one of our Nespresso Coffee Corners
with a sweet item. Both in the morning and in the afternoon we will
serve a fresh cup of coffee and/or tea (sodas are added in the
afternoon) during the interval of the meeting. In the conference room
we put mineral water and sweets/mints on the tables.
Lunch
For lunch your guests can make use of the full lunch buffet in our
restaurant. Prior to the buffet a soup - which changes daily is
available. Our buffet has a selection of various luxurious bread types,
a wealth of meats, dairy products, sweet spreads, salads, fish dishes,
warm dishes (like spaghetti, nasi = fried rice, lasagne, etc.), two
different kinds of warm snacks. Moreover, we provide miscellaneous
fruits, fruit yogurt, fruit juices, coffee, tea, smoothies, milk and
buttermilk. Due to seasons and availability of ingredients, dishes can
be substituted or swapped with each other.

This package is similar to the 8 hours package and includes a
three course dinner. Our Chef de cuisine creates the three course
meal with seasonal specialties daily. Consumptive use during
dinner is charged, based on subsequent calculation. After dinner
the conference room can be used until 11.00 p.m.

At a time when increasingly more people look for organic and socially
responsible products, we arranged for you, as a conscious consumer, a
culinary package. All these products have been produced according to
the latest organic and ecological standards as much as possible. Due to
seasons and availability of ingredients, dishes can be substituted or
swapped with each other. This package consists of fresh products; a
market price will be charged. This implies that the package price can
change.
Welcoming your guests
In the morning we will welcome your participants with a cup of CSR
coffee and/or tea with a piece of organic sponge cake.
Morning break
During the morning break we will serve your guests a fresh cup of
CSR coffee and/or tea.
Lunch
At lunch time our buffets serve a selection of organic filled luxury bread
rolls, among them: zonnebonk with lean ham, pumpkin pit roll with brie,
ecoknar with soft young cheese, crusty bread roll with loin roast, ciabatta
with healthy fillings, white bread roll with roast beef. Plus, a ravishing range
of organic hand fruits, various sorts of fruit yogurt and a sorting of warm
items such as croquettes, cheese bread rolls and so on.
In addition, we provide organic milk, butter milk, multiple juices, coffee and
tea.
Alternatively, we serve the vegetarian option of these dishes
whenever possible
Afternoon break
During the interval we serve a fresh cup of CSR coffee and/or tea
and an assortment of organic juices, CSR water and sodas.
Drinks
At the end of your meeting your guests can enjoy a Dutch apéritif. This
includes beer, malt beer, red wine, white wine, rosé wine, port,
sherry, vermouth, sodas, water and fruit juices. At the same time we
pass round to treat you and your guests onto a range of warm
appetizers. These consist of bitter balls and vegetarian bites (for
example vegetable quiche). On the high tables we present and serve
to your guests:
• Crudites: range of carrot, leek, radish, celery with appropriate dips
• Assortment of olives, tomatoes filled with mozzarella and basil,
mushrooms stuffed with MonChou cheese.

In these food corners our chefs will perform the finishing touches on

34. Uniform Conditions Catering (I)
For all our agreements concluded, we enforce the Uniforme
Voorwaarden Horeca (Uniform Conditions Catering) and the
additional booking conditions. These conditions are available for
inspection at our office or will be sent to you at your request
immediately; these are free of charge. Furthermore, the conditions
regarding cancellation are written in these documents. The Uniform
Voorwaarden Horeca are binding for anyone who wishes to make
use of our services. These regulations can also be found on our
website and can be downloaded.

Additional booking conditions NBC (II) Prices
We reserve the right to modify the prices published by us. All prices
listed are exclusive of VAT. If prices of goods rented by us from third
parties change, the additional expenses for these will be transferred
onto your invoice.
If third parties do not accomplish their obligation to provide - for
whatever reason - we are not liable for any possible damage that
may be caused or resulted from this.
Goods are rented out on the expenses of the hirer; in case of
damage, theft or loss the expenses are passed on to the hirer.
Likewise, if we act as the hirer to external market parties for her clients,
the expenses of loss, theft and damage will be charged to the client.
If events are organized in the event halls in combination with
conference rooms, the same conditions will be set and enforced for
the conference rooms as for the event halls. This implies - amongst
other things - that day rates are applied to the sub conference rooms.
Final numbers of attendees
If the number of persons listed in the final booking changes with a
percentage of more than 5%, we reserve the right to adjust the rent of
the conference room/hall stated in the booking document. You can
inform us about the final number of persons up to one month before
the start of the event at the latest. A modification in this can be passed
on to us up till one week before the start of the event. We apply a
maximum margin of 5%. The number of guests known to us one week
before start will be charged to you.
Option terms
When we receive another request on a date selected by you, we will
get in touch with you. Within 24 hours you need to declare whether
your request is transformed into a definite booking or whether it
expires. In case you do not inform us within the indicated period, we
retain the right to cancel the administered option.
No rights can be derived from the option granted and for both parties
they are optional. Only for a definite booking we talk about an
accepted order.
Definite bookings
A booking is commissioned when we received a signed copy of our
quote i.e. we have the confirmation on our proposal. Until receipt of
the quote signed for agreement, we retain the right to recall the quote
made.

35. Cancellations event halls
We adopt the following cancellation terms with regards to definite
and confirmed bookings for the event hall:
Cancellations 6 months or longer prior to the start 0% for the total
booking value.
Cancellations between 4 - 6 months prior to the start 25% of the total
booking value.
Cancellations between 2 - 4 months prior to the start 50% of the total
booking value.
Cancellations within 2 months prior to the start 100% of the total
booking value.
The total booking value is the value of the service/product cancelled
including the products/services hired from third parties and VAT.
Cancellations of conference rooms
We adopt the following cancellation terms with regard to conference
rooms bookings which have been confirmed:
Up to one month prior to the start you can cancel free of charge.
Cancellations within a month prior to the start, 100% of the total
booking value will be charged.
The total booking value is the value of the services which are
cancelled including the products hired from third parties and VAT.
Conditions of payment
The NBC demands a down payment on events whereby the
estimated (or booked) costs amount to a sum above € 5.000
including VAT.
The following terms will be adopted regarding this matter:
• 30% in case of a definite order (the moment your signed order has
been received)
• 60% no later than 2 months prior to the effective date of the event
• 10% after the event when the complete invoice has been provided
If you fail to carry out the payments, we retain the right to postpone
our obligations of supply for an indefinite period of time until all
payment commitments have been met. The time limit for the payment
is within 14 days.
Additional consumption
In case of additional consumption (all unforeseen costs, unanticipated
consumptions, or the like) these extras will be passed on to you on the
basis of actual costs. The numbers given beforehand will be
calculated and passed on at all times.
Exhibitions
Refer ‘Booking Conditions Exhibitions’. These are available on
demand with your Account Manager.
