How did we deliver
From the brief, Clubs Away developed a proposal
for the luxurious West Course at Wentworth.
The event was held a month before the PGA
Championship and we linked the day to the
tournament – all the grandstands were erected
around the course and as is the custom at
Wentworth, a starter was on the first tee to
send the two four balls away equipped with
complementary ball markers, tees and pitchforks.

How did we deliver
We began by developing a proposal for a trip
centred around relationships; one round on Celtic
Manor’s excellent Roman Road course, followed
by a stay at its luxurious resort and a three-course
formal dinner. Proceedings included a prize
presentation ceremony celebrating the day’s best
player. The evening was topped off with a charity
auction for Save the Children. The auction raised
over £2,000 and one lucky bidder won a very
special dinner with top European golfer, Miquel
Angel Jimenez at Woburn.
