In our efforts to manage the COVID-19 pandemic, Propel Manila Management held its first ever virtual town hall last April 2, 2020. As we discussed with our teams how we can navigate through the crisis, we went through 3 important points.
First, as a people-first company, we initiated the Humanity Work Schedule—our agency’s response to the delicate balance of traversing life and business during this difficult period. Further, we’ve birthed the COVID-19 Support Program where it focuses on providing Financial & Medical Assistance to affected talents as well as provide Consultation & Referral services for job-loss support to their immediate families.
Second, our collective goal to be more entrepreneurial and aiming for a “first-out-of-the-gates” mindset through opportunity-mapping, constant collaborations, and operationalizing these projects, in an effort to bring more ideas that matter.
Finally, as we brave through this new normal, it’s important that we all stay vigilant of our surroundings as we strive to open avenues of dialogue to all of our talents on improving the business and their own welfare.
Propel Manila hopes that this framework helps guide us as we navigate through this crisis, together.
“We’re calling everyone to be more entrepreneurial and aim for a “first out of the gates” mindset.
Sir Afable, in our recent board meeting echoed this principle – in which today’s landscape is demanding us to find opportunities to seize.
We need to consolidate our approach on how to do this:
1. Problem Solving: It is important that as we balance our personal lives during this pandemic, that we are equally sniffing out opportunities.
“As we traverse the balancing-act of preserving our livelihoods too, we are called, more than ever, to contribute to multiple ways to solve or seize opportunities for our brands, to expand our knowledge and skills, and contribute to business. Either by Thursday (tomorrow) or Friday, Max, together with the research of our Data Team, will be presenting an agency-wide Business Opportunity Mapping Amidst COVID19 – everyone is encouraged to take the time to attend this, and contribute to more insights as this pandemic progresses.
