126. Aloha is being a part of all, and all being a part
of me. When there is pain - it is my pain. When
there is joy - it is also mine. I respect all that is
as part of the Creator and part of me. I will not
willfully harm anyone or anything. When food is
needed, I will take only my need and explain
why it is being taken. The earth, the sky, the sea
are mine to care for, to cherish, and to protect.

Alfisols(ハワイにない) 粘土集積層を持っているが、酸性化していない土
Andisols (HK) formed in ash deposits
Histosols (HK) Organic rich, formed in the wet and cool environment
Inceptisols often occur on old alluvium, on steep land where constant exposure of new surfaces prevents soils from aging, and in poorly drained areas where soil development is delayed by stagnant waters.
Oxisols (K) highly weathered , acidic infertile
Ultisols (K) acidic infertile

ʻula-ʻai-hawane (Ciridops anna)
It was only ever reported from the forested mountains of the Kohala, Hilo and Kona districts on the island of Hawaii.
The average length of the bird was around 11 cm.
The last confirmed sighting of the bird was in the Kohala Mountains in 1892.

The greater koa finch (Rhodacanthis palmeri)
23 cm
Green pods of Koa, sometimes entire pod (in pieces), occasionally only seeds. Occasionally ate a’alii seeds, seasonally fed on caterpillars, sometimes gathered from shorter trees such as naio.
The last confirmed sighting was in 1896.
In historical times, its range was largely confined to the Kona District of the island of Hawaii, although it was observed in the Kīlauea area in 1895.
The lesser koa finch (Rhodacanthis flaviceps)
19 cm
The bird was never seen after the year 1891

Hawaiʻi ʻōʻō (Moho nobilis) The last known sighting was in 1934 on the slopes of Maunaloa, 32 cm
Kauaʻi ʻōʻō or ʻōʻōʻāʻā (Moho braccatus) extinct c. 1987, 20 cm
