In the past few years, Russia experienced its biggest flood in the Far East which lasted four months, heat waves and droughts in 2012 and 2013 that caused over 25 billion rubles in damages to agricultural producers, and many forest fires across various regions. Various types of storms and earthquakes also commonly impact parts of Russia.
