It is with great pleasure that I write to recommend Natasha Harvey.
As Brand Manager, I was Natasha’s direct manager during her summer 2015 Social Media Internship at
Rustic Pathways. We worked closely together during these three months and I was impressed with her
dedication, ability to work independently, and attention to detail.
Natasha was extremely proactive during her internship. She never let a project slip through the cracks
and was diligent about following up with me to make sure she understood all deadlines and expectations.
This was especially complicated because although Natasha was working in our San Francisco office and
with other members of the marketing team, I was in New York for the majority of the summer. Natasha
rose to the challenge of working virtually and across different time zones. She was flexible and easily
adapted when meeting times or project details changed, often without much warning.
Despite coming in with no direct experience in a marketing or communications role, Natasha worked hard
to improve her written and visual content creation skills and was able to emulate our tone and voice to
develop content for our social media sites and general marketing materials. I have hired and worked with
more than 10 different social media and marketing interns over the past three years and Natasha was the
only intern who created useable content for our platforms.
Natasha’s confidence shines in her work and in the way she carries herself. She is professional and
mature in her communication and presents her ideas clearly and succinctly. I have never been so
impressed with an employee and I would love to hire Natasha to work on my team again. I know she will
