The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a national level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate architecture programs in India. It consists of two parts - a two hour drawing test and a one hour computer-based aesthetic sensitivity test, with no negative marking. Candidates must have passed 10th grade, obtained at least 50% marks in 12th grade including mathematics, and be physically and mentally fit to appear for the exam, which is offered at designated test centers across India. Appointments cannot be cancelled once scheduled, and there is no refund. Candidates have up to five attempts at the exam, with only their best score being considered for admission.
