NATA – National Aptitude Test In Architecture
Eligibility For Giving NATA Exam
• Any person having passed SSC (Std X) or equivalent examination.
• Should have secured 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination
with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
• The aspirant must have at least 50% marks in the qualifying
examination and also in Mathematics separately.
• NATA score shall be valid for a period of two years from the year in
which one appeared.
• The aspirant should be physically and mentally fit at the time of
exam.
NATA paper covers of two papers. There is a two-part examination. It covers a paper-related on
drawing examination of two hours of duration including of two questions with one-question
covers two sub questions and a computer-related online aesthetic sensitivity examination lasts
one hour including of 40 Multiple Choice Questions. There is no negative marking.
• The time period of this test is 3 hours. The exam has 2 parts.
• Paper Based Drawing Test
• Computer Based Online Aesthetic Sensitivity Test
• Negative marking is absent in this exam. The paper carries a total of 200 marks. Those who
secure more than 100 marks will get admittance to the institution of their choice.

NATA is offered over major part of admission season at designated Test
Centers located at colleges / schools of architecture in India. Updated
list of Test centers is available at the website http://www.nata.in
WHERE TO APPEAR FOR NATA?
Appointment once scheduled cannot be cancelled or rescheduled.
There will be no refund of NATA test fees under any conditions.

• Maximum no.of attempts for each candidate – 5
• The "Best of 5" attempt system will be applicable for the test given from NATA 2016
