The work of the architect
is to help bring people,
their structures, activities, and communities
into harmonious relationship
with the living earth—
with the “want-to-be” of the land.
 Architects are playing an increasingly
important role in solving the great
issues of our day, such as dealing with
climate change and providing
sustainable communities. They are
working on urban regeneration and
master-planning projects, tackling
environmental hazards, designing
Olympic sites, and creating the public
squares, parks and streets we all use.
 It is perhaps simplest to say that
architects create places for people to
live, work and enjoy, and places for
plants and animals to thrive. Architects
also speak up for the care and
preservation of our landscapes.
IMPORTANCE OF ARCHITECTURE
APTITUDE
 In the exam of NATA & other B.Arch Entrance exams this is the only thing
which is asked and accounted that a student who is going to study
architecture has a proper sense of visualization and can he transform his
ideas on to paper as well as his observation of various objects which he
observes in day- to-day life .Creativity is not given in books. It is done with
visualization and it is only Architect whose visualization is transformed in
reality in terms of buildings.
CREATIVITY
 Architecture is related with creativity and creativity cannot be taught or
learnt .Its a study of visualization and that's what we teach in our academy -
the correct way to visualize and analyse the subject and questions and
how to transform a student’s innovative ideas on to paper .
The drawing aptitude is judged on the
following aspects –
 Ability to sketch a given object
proportionately and rendering the same in
visually appealing manner.
 Visualising and drawing the effects of light
on the object and shadows cast on
surroundings.
 Sense of perspective drawing.
 Combining and composing given three
dimensional elements to form a building or
structural form.
 Creating visual harmony using colours in
given composition.
 Understanding of scale and proportions.
 Drawing from memory through pencil
sketch on themes from day to day
experiences.
DRAWING TEST
 The primary emphasis in scoring the
drawing section is on the candidates
drawing, imagination and observation
skills. The candidates sense of proportion
& perspective is also evaluated together
with sense for colour and composition.
 Creating interesting two dimensional
composition using given shapes and
Form
 Creating visual harmony using colours in
given composition.
 Understanding of scale and proportions.
 Drawing from memory through pencil
sketch on themes from day to day
experiences.
DRAWING TEST
AESTHETIC SENSITIVITY TEST
The aesthetic sensitivity test measures perception, imagination and observation, creativity and
communication along with architectural awareness and comprises of -
 Visualising three dimensional objects from two dimensional drawings.
 Visualising different sides of three dimensional objects.
 Identifying commonly used materials and objects based on their textural qualities.
 Analytical reasoning.
 Mental Ability.
 Imaginative comprehension and expression.
 Architectural awareness.
ARCHITECTURE SCHOOLS
 Presently the number of schools offering five years B.
Arch. Degree course in the country 458 (as on 7th
October 2016) and admission to the course in all
schools of architecture is compulsorily through aptitude
tests. The syllabus and pattern of the tests are
prescribed by Council of Architecture.
When to apply?
 The Test will be held on 16.04.2017 . as per NATA
schedule, given on www.nata.in .
How to prepare?
Many coaching centres are providing expert coaching for
IIT and B.Tech. but very few experts are available for
architecture entrance examinations. Only qualified and
experienced architects can provide coaching and guidance
for architecture entrance exams.
HERE WE ARE
Global Academy of Vaastu and Design is an initiative of team of qualified and expert
Architects to impart comprehensive guidance and assistance for preparation of B.
Architecture Entrance examinations. Global Academy of Vaastu and Design is dedicated

  • 6. The work of the architect is to help bring people, their structures, activities, and communities into harmonious relationship with the living earth— with the “want-to-be” of the land.
  • 7.  Architects are playing an increasingly important role in solving the great issues of our day, such as dealing with climate change and providing sustainable communities. They are working on urban regeneration and master-planning projects, tackling environmental hazards, designing Olympic sites, and creating the public squares, parks and streets we all use.  It is perhaps simplest to say that architects create places for people to live, work and enjoy, and places for plants and animals to thrive. Architects also speak up for the care and preservation of our landscapes. IMPORTANCE OF ARCHITECTURE
  • 8. APTITUDE  In the exam of NATA & other B.Arch Entrance exams this is the only thing which is asked and accounted that a student who is going to study architecture has a proper sense of visualization and can he transform his ideas on to paper as well as his observation of various objects which he observes in day- to-day life .Creativity is not given in books. It is done with visualization and it is only Architect whose visualization is transformed in reality in terms of buildings.
  • 9. CREATIVITY  Architecture is related with creativity and creativity cannot be taught or learnt .Its a study of visualization and that's what we teach in our academy - the correct way to visualize and analyse the subject and questions and how to transform a student’s innovative ideas on to paper .
