- 2. WHAT DOES “NARRATIVE” MEAN? What are some words I know that have the same beginning? narrator So narrative must have something to do with stories!
- 3. A NARRATIVE SUMMARY FRAME IS…. a way for me to organize a summary about a narrative (a story).
- 4. ASK YOURSELF THESE 7 QUESTIONS ! 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Who are the main characters, and what makes them different from others? What’s the setting? What prompted the action in the story? How did the characters express their feelings? What did the main characters decide to do? Did they set a goal, and, if so, what was it? How did the main characters try to accomplish their goal(s)? What were the consequences?

- 12. #7 WHAT WERE THE CONSEQUENCES? (RESOLUTION) Answer The wolf couldn’t blow down the brick house. He tries to get in through the fire place, but is then burned and runs away. Movement
- 13. SUMMARY OF THE THREE LITTLE PIGS. Three little pigs were being chased by a wolf. They each ran into their own houses: a straw house, a stick house, and a brick house. They didn’t want the wolf to come in, but he blew down the straw house and then the stick house. The pigs from the straw house and stick house ran to the brick house, where the third pig lives. The wolf could not blow the brick house down. He tried to climb in through the chimney, but he got burned on the fireplace.
