Dear Sam,
I’m sorry for not writing for so long but
I’ve been crazy busy with getting ready for
sports week. But I couldn’t help telling you this-
I’ve got pretty good at volleyball. You might want
to look out for our next match!
Anyway, something really grand happened yesterday.
You won’t believe it but our school’s star idol Neymar paid a visit
to us! Isn’t it awesome? I’ve been told this was a last-minute
arrangement with our principal. The boys in our school were
squealing louder than girls when our principal announced
Neymar himself was going to be coaching our football teams for
a day. I think it hurt my ear drums!
The highlight of this visit was when Neymar carried out an
interview with the Student Union. We asked him any questions
we wanted. You remember my firend Francisco, don’t you? He’s
a goofball and is always joking around. Well, he chimed in a
question about Neymar’s hairstyle. It was hilarious! Francisco
bluntly said it looked like a squirrel. I really have no idea where
that came from. We all had a good laugh and a really
memorable time. I learnt some of Neymar’s personal favourites,
including food. I never thought he’s mad about sushi – yuck! I
wish you were here; I know you would’ve loved it.
Of course, our school was in high spirits when
Neymar paid this memorable visit. The football team
learned loads of new tricks and it brought some
enthusiasm to students. He also taught us how to keep
fit and eat rightly. What’s more, Neymar wrote about
our fantastic school on Twitter and now we’ve suddenly
got over a million followers.
I must dash now. I’ve to tell Luca all
about it. Write to me soon!
Love,
Shane
