2.  How does the opening sequence use sound, camera
movement, framing and angles, editing and mise-en-
scene to help established generic codes and conventions
typically associated with and found in film genres similar
to yours?
 The mise-en-scene for the first two minutes of this film
have a wide variety of objects, for example in the first
10 seconds there’s an image of a little girl in a white
ling dress with something above her head, which looks
a lot like a halo this associates with innocence and
purity, yet you see an old character pick up this picture
to look at it which makes the viewer wonder what the
relations towards the picture and the character. He also
puts this under a candle which makes the viewer
wonder why they aren’t using the electric. You then see
the camera go into a mid shot to see the background of
many images of children or relatives. After this the
camera shot we see an image of a middle age woman
holding something but its all surrounded by candles
which makes the viewer to wonder why there's many
candles and there not using any light’s or opening the
windows, this makes the scene feel dark and gloomy
which associates with a horror film, this associates with
my film as its set in the dark.
