The narrator was a camp counselor at Camp Okoboji last summer. On the first day, all the kids arrived quickly and chaotically. One boy in particular seemed like he would be trouble based on his behavior. The narrator discovered the boy was a Boy Scout, so he talked to him about scouting and said he would hold the boy to the Scout Law standards. This caused the boy's attitude to change positively.
