The production process begins with ordering and proceeds through steps of sorting, washing, dyeing, weaving, and finishing raw materials. Over 40,000 contract workers and employees are involved at various stages of production. The main markets for Jaipur Rugs are the US, Turkey, Canada, and several European and Asian countries. It aims to reduce costs through direct relationships with weavers while also implementing a responsive supply chain strategy in major developed markets.
