Kolab is communication and collaboration software that provides email, contacts, calendar, tasks and file storage functionality across the web, desktop and mobile. It is developed by Kolab Systems based on free and open source standards. Kolab Systems launched MyKolab.com in 2013 to offer Kolab as a hosted service after realizing there was demand for such an offering. MyKolab.com has since grown and adapted based on customer feedback. Kolab is used by various organizations and its development is focused on security, modularity and scalability.
