The MyGeoss project, initiated by the European Commission, aims to develop smart internet applications for global earth observation to inform citizens about local environmental changes. It encourages European SMEs and citizen science projects to utilize open data and has launched calls for innovative mobile and web applications. is a two-year project (2015-16) by the European Commission to develop Global Earth Observation System of Systems based
