The programme is being organized by the Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology (MSO) and supported by the Sarawak Convention Bureau. Dr Somdutt Prasad will conduct a presentation on cataracts on 6th March 2016 at 9:10 am along with a nature photography master class later in the day at 2 pm.
Apart from the main programme, where several aspects of eye care and other nitty-gritty will be discussed, MSO is also offering several social programmes where participants can enjoy bird watching, golf and subsidised tours among others.

Preliminary results showed formulation F3 had suitable properties for treating periodontitis, with a zone of inhibition of 22.05±0.04 mm against test microbes. Empyema is also called pyothorax or purulent pleuritis.
It’s a condition in which pus gathers in the area between the lungs and the inner surface of the chest wall. This area is known as the pleural space.
Pus is a fluid that’s filled with immune cells, dead cells, and bacteria.
Pus in the pleural space can’t be coughed out. Instead, it needs to be drained by a needle or surgery.
Empyema usually develops after pneumonia, which is an infection of the lung tissue. it is mainly caused due in infectious micro-organisms. It can be treated with medications and other measures.

The world, as we know, has changed. It has become imperative for the governments, employers, workers' organizations, and the global community to adopt workforce protection measures in the fight against COVID-19. These organizations should strengthen capacities to protect health workers and emergency responders, providing them with Occupational Health Services, thus ensuring occupational health and safety. Health workers are at the front line of the COVID-19 outbreak response and hence exposed to hazards that put them at a high risk of infection. Empyema is also called pyothorax or purulent pleuritis.
It’s a condition in which pus gathers in the area between the lungs and the inner surface of the chest wall. This area is known as the pleural space.
Pus is a fluid that’s filled with immune cells, dead cells, and bacteria.
Pus in the pleural space can’t be coughed out. Instead, it needs to be drained by a needle or surgery.
Empyema usually develops after pneumonia, which is an infection of the lung tissue. it is mainly caused due in infectious micro-organisms. It can be treated with medications and other measures.
