2. HISTORY OF SIWES
 The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) initiated the
Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme
(SIWES) in 1973 in order to bridge the gab
between theory and practical experience that
was in exclusive on our educational system.
 The scheme was a skill training oriented
programme that could expose and prepare
students on work they would meet in post –
graduation endeavors.

3. AIM AND OBJECTIVES OF SIWES
 To bridge the gap between college work and actual work
practice.
 To provide means for students in tertiary institution to
acquire industrial skills and experience in the field of study.
 Expose students to work methods and techniques in
handling equipment and machineries that are not
available in their institutions.
 To ease the transition form of the work and enable
students contact for late job placement

4. BRIEF HISTORY OF HILAL MODERN
SIGNAGE GOMBE
 Located at Incubation Center Behind Salida Gas
Gombe, Gombe State.
 It is a registered organization and IT Consultancy.
 It was established in 2015
 The Company was built highly focus on changing
any manual system into computerized system.
 They offer services like: UI / UX Design, Graphics,
Modern Sign Board and Many More.

 During my six-month SIWES (Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme),
I had the opportunity to work on a mobile application project called
DazzlApp.

 This experience helped me build confidence in my
